Checking gateway Latency

Select Dashboard and locate the Latency section to view a graph showing network gateway latency. Latency indicates the time lapse between the action and reaction of your WiFi service. A consistently high spike in the graph is an indication that an issue may need to be addressed.

Possible causes for high latency are:

A high number of users on your network. You may need to increase your network capacity permanently or limit each guest's maximum bandwidth.

There may be a problem with your Internet Service Provider.

Choose to:

Hover over the latency graph to view more detail.

Click and drag on a point in the latency graph to zoom in.

Click to download or print a copy of the graph. You may find this useful for auditing purposes. Choose to print once you have zoomed if required.
